It's a new era for OMC's Emergency Department! Today we officially welcome Dr. Michael Repplinger, our NEW Medical Director of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Repplinger will be responsible for leading a brand new team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, playing a critical role in reshaping OMC’s emergency department to expand services that ensure Osceolans are receiving the high-quality, patient-centered emergency care they need.

“Dr. Repplinger’s background combines strong clinical expertise with a proven track record in department leadership,” says David Frenz, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, at Osceola Medical Center. “These are qualities that will serve our patients and community well!”

Most recently, he has worked as a frontline physician in Prairie du Sac, Platteville, Portage, and Darlington. With over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Repplinger brings a wealth of expertise in emergency department leadership, most recently serving as Medical Director at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI.

“I am excited to join OMC and work alongside such a talented team," said Repplinger. "I look forward to connecting with the Osceola community and creating an emergency department that not only exceeds their care expectations, but one that also earns their trust.”

Measles is afoot! While we don’t have any confirmed cases locally, it’s always best to be prepared! So on that note: If you or members of your family have not been vaccinated, now is the time! See myomc.org/immunization-clinic for more info!

If you are fully vaccinated, you can breathe easier. (One dose is 93% protective and two doses are 97% protective!)

What to do if you don’t know your vaccination status?
Go to your MyChart or check Wisconsin's Immunization Registry here: dhfswir.org/PR/clientSearch.do?language=en

If you have measles symptoms (rash, cough, fever, and/or pinkeye), please call our HealthLine nurse at 715-294-5687. We'll assess your risk and direct you to the best care option.

What a year! In 2025, we were able to serve more than 36,000 patients, welcome more than 100 babies into the world and complete more than 1,700 surgeries—each one representing a life touched and cared for close to home. Together we took part in over 30 community events and raised $4.6 million to reinvest directly back into care through the Osceola Community Health Foundation.

This year also marked an exciting step forward as we began expanding our Osceola campus, creating space for expanded specialty care, rehab and therapy services, mental health and addiction care, pharmacy services, and more room to serve future generations. We're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together and even more excited for what's ahead.

Thank you for being a part of the Osceola Medical Center story. Your trust and support make everything possible!

Our Story

We take the adage to heart that you “feel better when you feel at home” by treating every patient like family. This home-town care approach allows us to know you as a person and your family as a whole.

With two clinic locations, in Osceola, WI, and Scandia, MN, this approach offers a more personal touch as well as greater convenience and comprehensive care. The family practice provider has a better understanding of your health situation, can communicate with you more effectively and can respond better to situations within your family. They are also trained to recognize when specialty care is needed (see side bar list), and decide what type of care makes the most sense. The family provider plays a critical role as an advocate for the patient and can help you navigate an often complex health-care system

Walk-In Clinic

Our Walk-In Clinic is designed to offer easy access to a provider for those unexpected situations, like ear infections, sore throats and minor injuries. With longer hours and no appointments, you don’t have to think twice about seeing a provider. Just walk right on in when you need to and you’ll be seen.
