❄️ Weather Closure Update ❄️
For the safety of our patients and staff, Physical Achievement Center will be closed today due to the weather.
Our team had reached out to all patients on Friday to reschedule appointments. If we were unable to connect, please give us a call and we will help get you rescheduled.
📞 Our team will be available by phone today to assist you at (920) 230 - 2747
If you are heading outside to shovel/snow blow today, here are a few quick tips to help avoid injury:
• Warm up first – take a few minutes to walk around and loosen up your muscles before shoveling.
• Push the snow when possible instead of lifting heavy loads.
• Lift with your legs, not your back, and keep the shovel close to your body.
• Take frequent breaks to avoid overworking your muscles.
• Watch for icy surfaces to prevent slips and falls.
Please stay safe and take it slow out there today. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the clinic soon! 💙

🎥 Watch as Sam shares her story after starting the SprintSet program at Physical Achievement Center.

After having five kids in seven years, Sam felt like she had lost control of her health and wanted to get back on track. Since starting the program, she has lost 42 pounds in just over 100 days and noticed a big difference in her daily life.

Keeping up with her kids is easier, getting up and down with her baby and toddler feels effortless, and she has more energy throughout the day. She also shared that she feels clearer mentally and no longer deals with the stomach aches and headaches she used to experience.

Sam says the program helped her finally put the pieces together for lasting change and calls it life changing. We are so proud of the progress she has made on her journey to better health. 💚

“I found both Eric and Rebecca to be savvy practitioners with their therapy methods. I was skeptical when they began working on my arthritic hip, but after several sessions, I became a believer. The proof ? minimal pain in that hip. They also provided me with a series of exercises that I plan to continue to use in the maintenance of a "healthy hip.”

Great conversation today with Dr. Eric Koehler at the Physical Achievement Center here in Oshkosh!

It was great to sit down with Dr. Eric Koehler, PT, DPT and talk about ways we can work together to better support our patients in the Oshkosh community. Dr. Koehler and his team focus on helping people restore mobility and strength through evidence-based physical therapy and lifestyle-based strategies so patients can return to the activities they love.

One of the things we discussed was how a collaborative approach between physical therapy and pharmacy can sometimes create better outcomes for patients dealing with chronic pain, injuries, or inflammation.

For example, certain custom compounding medications such as low-dose naltrexone (LDN) may be helpful for some patients dealing with inflammation, autoimmune issues, or chronic pain. When paired with movement therapy, strength training, and lifestyle changes, the combination can sometimes work synergistically to support the body’s natural healing process.

At Sawyer Street Hometown Pharmacy, we’re always looking for ways to partner with great clinicians in our community so patients have access to multiple tools for recovery and long-term health.

Big thanks to Dr. Koehler for taking the time to connect and share ideas. Excited about ways we can continue working together to help people in Oshkosh move better, feel better, and live healthier lives.

Red Light vs. Low-Level Laser Therapy for Pain Relief in Oshkosh ⚡🔴

Not all light therapies are the same — and choosing the right one can make a big difference in pain relief, recovery, and results.

Here’s how they compare:
🔹 Red Light Therapy – Broad-area, non-invasive support for inflammation, circulation, and recovery
🔹 Low-Level Laser Therapy – Focused, deeper pe*******on for targeted pain relief
💡 Both can help with pain, but they work differently and are best used for different goals
💪 Knowing which is right for you helps speed recovery and improve comfort

“This is the first place that said they could help with neuropathy. I have only been going for 2 weeks and I can already feel my fingers better than before. Hopefully my feet will cooperate in the future. The therapists are wonderful and the atmosphere is very friendly and uplifting.”
