Wishing all of our patient/friends a happy and healthy holiday season.

The Shoppe will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. We are all taking a vacation!

It was a whirlwind year filled with hard work, health challenges for me, and a lovely trip with Lisa and Donna to Las Vegas for a last hoorah. Throughout it all- we stuck together and had a ton of fun along the way.

Thank you for your business. I appreciate it. As most of you know, I will be retiring on January 19th. It's been a dream come true to practice in Oshkosh.

Did you know that blinking is a "treatment" for dry eye?
You need your top eyelid and bottom eyelid to meet with a bit of force- that squeezes oil out of your meibomian glands. You need oil in your tears or else... your tears evaporate.

Call for a consult if you need a dry eye evaluation.

Hello, Friends!

My lovely ladies (Lisa and Donna) told me it would be good to give the office a break for Labor Day weekend. We will recharge our batteries and be raring to go on Tuesday.

Glaucoma is considered "the thief of sight." It typically is a very slow, progressive loss of side vision. You can have it and not know it until it is very advanced.

Yearly eye exams help in early detection of glaucoma. For those with glaucoma, we have specialty equipment that tests the health of your optic nerve and your peripheral vision.

Demodex mites love to live in the eyelid. They create "collarettes" that cling to the base of the lash. Most of us have some demodex- but when they get out of control they can cause red, irritated eyes.

It's not bad hygiene. It's your skin type. During your office visit, I will examine and video your eyelids. We can then discuss any treatment plan.

Blepharitis= an over abundance of bacteria.
Demodicosis= an over abundance of demodex mites.

You can have both conditions at the same time. I can help you with both conditions. Give me a call.
