Today is World Diabetes Day! Our staff is wearing BLUE to show support for all our diabetic patients but also to honor one of our coworkers who is Type 1 Diabetic.

November is also Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month, early detection & treatment is critical to help prevent vision loss from conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, glaucoma & cataracts. Early stages of diabetic eye disease often have no symptoms so it is vital for anyone with diabetes to get their dilated eye exams every year to monitor their eye health closely.
