We have always tried to exceed our patient's expectations while maintaining a cost effective and reasonably priced business. We were able to keep our current certification fee the same for the past 8 years, since our beginning.

However, over those 8 years, we have seen our costs increase multiple times, including insurance, credit card fees, rent and utilities, payroll costs, supplies and others. Because of this, beginning January 1, 2024, we will be forced to increase our fee to $175 per certification.

"Our goal will alway be to make our services as affordable as possible."

However we must make a small increase to our fee at this time or be forced to close.

Wouldn't it be great if you could LEGALLY grow your own Medical Ma*****na (assuming you had the skill set to properly handle it... and a "green thumb")? NOTE: It is currently ILLEGAL to grow Cannabis without a license!

The WISE & Free Florida committee is seeking to get the proposal on the 2024 ballot allowing “caregivers and adult qualifying patients 21 years or older to cultivate ma*****na for medical use.”

It's probably a bad idea to grow plants in your back yard if you have small children or pets, so we need to use some common sense on this...

The WISE & Free Florida committee will need to submit 891,589 valid petition signatures to get on ballot. We'll let you know when the petition is out.

Fairness and diversity are important to us at Dr. Cannabis Cards. That's why we are happy to share information about Florida's HB 493. The approval rules for farming cannabis; in fact, in 2015 NO black farmers met the eligibility criteria. Florida's amendment 2 passed on Nov. 2016, was supposed to require 1 license be issued to a person of color each year. 5 years later, FL announced it would begin taking applications under Amendment 2, by then, the licensing fee had increased from $61k to $146k! FINALLY, in Sept of 2022, ONE black farmer was was awarded a license; he probably had to mortgage his house...

HB 493 would award licenses to those denied over the last five years and were eligible under the Pigford v. Glickman settlement.

No wonder Medical Ma*****na is so expensive. Check back later for information on LEGALLY GROWING CANNABIS AT HOME.

The number of people receiving medical Ma*****na grew by 71% in the past two years. This is great news for those needing plant-based relief. As demand grows, so does the number of doctors and dispensaries and the pressure on communities to accept MMJ facilities.

Florida is proposing a bill to allow telehealth visits for doctors prescribing medical Ma*****na. The bill, HB 387 received a unanimous vote by The House Health and Human Services Committee to advance.

Temporary allowances during the pandemic and after Hurricane Ian didn't lead to 'any problems,' the bill's Republican sponsor said.
