The first Friday of February is here which means we are only two weeks away from the 2026 OEC State Competition! How exciting! Competition this year will be at SW Metro's Dean Lakes Education Center (4601 Dean Lakes Blvd, Shakopee, MN 55379) on Saturday, February 21st. If you are interested in helping evaluate the teams, being treated as a "victim", or helping with other competition aspects, please sign up with this link! We look forward to seeing you in Shakopee!

This year's competition is being hosted by the SWMetro OEC Program. It will take place on Saturday, February 21. The competition website lists all the relevant information. This form is to register as a competitor (teams) and volunteers for the 2026 MN State Youth Emergency Care Competition.

Sign up! Follow this link to sign up to be a judge! Requirements Judging at this event requires people who are medically trained at a minimum. Having experience in emergency services or having competed before would be preferable. What Judges Do Judges will meet with teams, give them the scenario

It's EMT Refresher Season!! There is still time to sign up for the 2025 EMT Refresher being held at Osseo High School. Feel free to share this information with others as well.

The refresher class will be on the following dates and will meet starting Jan 6th,from 5:30pm-9:30pm at Osseo Senior High School room E124. You can park near door 7. The cost for the refresher is $225. It will include BLS Refresher and the AHA’s PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) Course, as well as the needed distributive education.

Jan 13 (Monday) 5:30-9:30

The course will be a blend between in person and online distributive education.

We are only a few days away from the 2024 USA Cup! We are still looking for more volunteers to help provide medical coverage for the largest soccer tournament (1,200+ teams this year) in the Western Hemisphere at the National Sports Center in Blaine. The orientation meeting is strongly encouraged and is this Thursday, 7/11 is at 1730 at Centerview Elementary (enter on the east side at the main entrance). If you plan on volunteering, please sign up with the link below and remember on game days, medical volunteers park and enter on the west side of the elementary school (Door 7). Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the shift to sign in and help with set-up/logistics. USA Cup Weekend starts each day at 0750 (arrive by 0720) and USA Cup Week starts each day at 0700 (arrive by 0630). Questions? Let us know!
