Covid/Flu/GI symptoms
MVC is currently experiencing a Covid outbreak with Covid positive residents on 3 of our 4 units. We have 1 Covid positive on Shaw South, 4 on Green North, 2 on Chocorua South, and 4 on Chocorua North.

We currently have 1 resident on Whittier South with Flu and several residents on Mt. Chocorua experiencing GI symptoms.

We are currently masking on all units and encourage visitors to do the same. Masks are available at the entrance to each unit. We will not be having any group activities. Please stay home if you are sick! Practice good hand washing and wear a mask if you choose, especially if you have been in contact with someone who is ill.

Covid
This afternoon we had a resident on Green North test positive for Covid 19. So we know have residents with Covid on Chocorua north and south and Green north. All staff on Mt. Chocorua and Green are wearing masks and they are also available to visitors. We are keeping residents of Mt. Chocorua and Green Mtn. on the unit and not holding any group activities. We will continue to monitor and test residents as needed.

We are seeing lots of illness in general and we ask everyone to be diligent when visiting. Please stay home if you are sick! Practice good hand washing and wear a mask if you choose, especially if you have been in contact with someone who is ill.

This morning 2 residents on Chocorua North tested positive for Covid 19 this morning bringing us to a total of 3 residents on Mt. Chocorua. All staff on Mt. Chocorua are wearing masks and they are also available to visitors. We are keeping residents of Mt. Chocorua on the unit and not holding any group activities.

Gastrointestinal Outbreak
We continue to be experiencing a gastrointestinal outbreak on Mt. Whittier and on Mt. Chocorua South. Masks are available to visitors if they encouraged to wear one. We are currently not holding any group activities on Mt. Whittier and Chocorua South and asking residents to stay on the unit. We are actively monitoring all resident and have implemented enhanced infection-control measures to limit further spread.

Covid
We did have a resident on Chocorua South test positive for Covid 19 this morning. All other resident were tested this morning. All staff on Mt. Chocorua are wearing masks and they are also available to visitors.
