Kathleen Mary Donahue passed away in her sleep on November 20, 2025. She was 73 years young.
Born June 12, 1952 to Russell Donahue and Doris (Maloney) Donahue, she was the fourth of five children. This is where she learned to be loud and loyal. Kathy was the definition of fighting Irish. She had a fierce commitment to life, faith and family.
She was pre-deceased by her parents and her brothers David and Danny.
She is survived by her proudest accomplishments, her children. Melissa Burdick (Bobbi Jo Louis), Ross Spilman, Cate (Gary) Thompson and Erin Spilman. The father of her children, Stan Spilman. Her sisters, whom she loved beyond measure, Susan (Jerry) Altimonda and Laurie Donahue and nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren, Leslie Burdick, William Latour, Ryley and Abby Spilman, Adrienne, Caroline and CP Thompson, Falyn and Charlotte Kinnie. Her great-grandchildren Elijah, Abel and Evelyn. Bonus grandchild Alexis Holmes and great-grandson Niko. She loved being Aunt Kathy, Grammie and GG.
Kathy's heart was her greatest asset. She lived life just the way she wanted until her heart could no more. She taught us that life is not meant for tip toeing. It is meant for dancing to Stevie Nicks, laughing with your friends and blasting Metallica while you clean the house. It is meant for living fully and defiantly, loving abundantly and occasionally creating a little mischief.
There will be no services. Honor her by telling your family and friends that you love them and you are proud of them. A celebration of life will be held in Oswego at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of the Dowdle Funeral Home

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a truly remarkable man, Mark Turner, who fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by love and prayer, he went home to be with the Lord on 11/17/25, leaving behind a legacy of strength, faith, and unwavering devotion to the people he cherished most.

He was the beloved husband of his devoted wife, Betsy, with whom he shared 53 beautiful years of marriage—a partnership filled with love, loyalty, and resilience through life’s greatest joys and hardest battles. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Tracey (Darryl) and Beverly(David). He was a deeply loved grandfather to Jeremy, Meghan, Sierra, Amber (Skilar), Kirsten, Aimee, Jordyn, and Daryl Jr., and a cherished great-grandfather to Jaylee, Brooklynn, River, Raine, Royce, and Navy. Nothing brought him greater joy than watching his family grow, laugh, succeed, and gather together—those were the moments he held closest to his heart. He also treasured the many deep and meaningful friendships he formed throughout his life, each one of them leaving a lasting imprint on his heart.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Priscilla Turner, and his brother, Timothy Turner (Linda), along with his many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Turner; his mother, Hazel Scott; his stepfather, William Scott; and his brother, Daniel Turner.

A proud Steelers fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his team. He found peace on the water with a fishing pole in hand, purpose in the quiet of the woods while hunting, and joy on the golf course.

His faith grounded him through every season of life, and his church family at Port
City Faith meant the world to him.
He fought bravely, lived fully, and loved deeply. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort knowing he is finally at peace, reunited with the Lord he trusted so faithfully. His strength, his stories, his laugh, and his love will forever echo in the lives of those he leaves behind.

May he rest in eternal peace.
