💙 Patient Story Spotlight: Teresa’s Journey to Compassionate Care
After facing a difficult season supporting her husband through illness, Teresa Cady knew she needed a different kind of healthcare experience for her own knee replacement — one that felt personal, calm, and close to home.

She found exactly that at Oswego Health.

From the warm welcome at admission to the attentive nursing care and Dr. Michael Diaz’s exceptional expertise, Teresa says her experience “felt almost like a boutique hospital where kindness mattered just as much as medical skill.”

Her story is a beautiful reminder of what hometown, human-centered care can mean for a patient’s healing journey.

💙 Big news for Central New York!

Oswego Health Medical Practice is expanding into Clay, bringing much-needed primary care to Onondaga County. This isn’t growth for growth’s sake—it’s a mission-driven investment in a community where access to primary care is limited and preventative health matters more than ever.

Our new Clay PrimeCare opens March 2, because we believe primary care is the foundation of healthier lives—helping patients stay well, catch concerns early, and build long-term relationships with providers who truly care. When communities thrive, it starts with access.

We’re proud to welcome Dr. Andrew Rogall, a trusted family medicine physician and Clay resident, who will lead the practice with the compassionate, patient-centered care he’s known for. He’ll be joined by Michelle Burns, FNP, whose decades of clinical experience will expand appointment availability and ensure more families can get the care they need, when they need it.

Our commitment doesn’t stop there. We continue to invest in the communities we already serve, including Fulton—where we’ve recently recruited two additional providers to expand access and strengthen care close to home - Christine Ma, DO and Casey O. Donovan, MSN, FNP, RN.

Because at Oswego Health, we care—about prevention, about access, and about our neighbors.

This month, we honor the African American pioneers who helped shape modern medicine—leaders like Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, Dr. Daniel Hale Williams, Mary Eliza Mahoney, and Dr. Patricia Bath. Their innovation, resilience, and commitment to care changed healthcare forever and opened doors for generations to come.

At Oswego Health, we celebrate the pioneers of the past while also recognizing the strength, perseverance, and voices of those who continue to overcome adversity in healthcare today. We are proud to support a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and compassionate care—for our patients, our teams, and our community.

By honoring history, we reaffirm our commitment to equity, respect, and progress—today and always.
