School is almost back in session! If you have a middle schooler or who feels anxious, is struggling with friendship issues and needs support with communication skills, please join us. We meet every other Saturday for the MEET IN THE MIDDLE social skills group. Come and learn skills and practice them with peers. Open to 6-8th graders. When parents struggle with their childrens behaviors, understanding where their own beliefs on parenting stems from is vital. Knowing that each generation is doing the best they can, with the knowledge that they have, at the time they were doing it in, is the foundation to learning how to support your child now. You are not broken, your child is not broken. Your children need your compassion, your connection, your empathy and your grace to understand what they need in order to self-regulate and improve challenging behaviors.
