As we step into the holiday season, we know this time of year can be joyful *and* overwhelming—especially for breastfeeding and chest-feeding families. Between gatherings, travel, routines shifting, and a little extra stress in the air, feeding your little one can feel like a whole new adventure.

💗 **Our message this month?**
You deserve support, space, and understanding—wherever the holidays take you.

Here’s what we want every New York parent to remember this season:
✨ Your feeding journey doesn’t pause for the holidays.
✨ It’s okay to step away and feed when you need to.
✨ It’s okay to set boundaries with family.
✨ And it’s *more* than okay to ask for help.

All month long we’ll be sharing tips, resources, and encouragement to help families navigate the holidays with confidence, comfort, and community.

You’re doing incredible—one feed at a time. ❤️

🎄Thanks to the Oswego Renaissance Association and their Holiday Grant Program, homes along the route will be beautifully decorated to bring extra cheer to every ride.

💭Tip: Arrive early — carriage rides get very busy toward the end of the evening!

All of November is Prematurity Awareness Month. Every year, thousands of babies are born too soon, and many of them rely on pasteurized donor milk to grow and thrive. For premature and medically fragile infants, donor milk can mean fewer complications, stronger immune systems, and a better start in life.

At The New York Milk Bank, we’re proud to support hospitals and families across the region with safe, pasteurized donor milk — made possible by our incredible milk donors.

If you’d like to make a difference, learn how to become a donor or support our mission at www.nymilkbank.org.
