"We can either start Pitocin now, or you can risk being in labor for days and ending up with a C-section anyway. What do you want to do?"
This is a manipulative way of presenting options where one choice is framed as the obvious, responsible path, and the other is framed as dangerous or neglectful.

As a VBAC Mom myself I love encouraging other Moms if they wish pursue the VBAC!!
Birth isn't just about what happens on the big day; it's about the months of preparation leading up to it. And sometimes, the biggest triumph of all is realizing your current care provider isn't the right fit and having the courage to walk away.
If your provider makes you feel rushed, dismisses your desire for a VBAC, or treats your questions as an annoyance, you are allowed to fire them. You deserve a team that doesn't just "tolerate" your birth plan, but actively champions it.
Did you switch providers during your pregnancy to find better support? Tell us how it changed your experience in the comments!

We believe that birth is a unique and powerful experience. Education and Community are fundamental to create the best and healthiest outcome for mothers and their families. We complement your trusted medical professional by providing Childbirth Education and Doula Services.
Each month we host a different guest speaker to cover all topics related to your birth journey.
DO YOU NEED A BIRTH DOULA?
A doula is a professional labor support person. She stays with you the entire length of your labor and works with you prenatally to achieve the birth experience of your choice. Doulas are proven to lower epidural and cesarean rates by providing hands on comfort measures, informational, and emotional support.
HAVE YOU ALREADY HAD YOUR BABY? DO YOU NEED JUST A COUPLE MORE HOURS OF SLEEP?
Meet our Postpartum Doula! She can come to your home after the baby is born to help with light chores, meal preparation and siblings.
She helps take care of you so you can take care of your baby!
