MonArk was established on the principle of bringing quality services to the underserved communities. Our cofounder, Emily Karhoff, is currently co-chair on the OHABA Policy board helping push for more quality services. This house bill is extremely important in getting more quality services for those individuals with autism in Ohio!

Please take a minute to email your legislator to let them know we need their support in passing this bill! Instructions are in the posting with templates if needed. Appreciate any/all support! 🦋

HB 453 can make real change but it won’t move forward without the voices of families, providers, and advocates across Ohio. To make it easy, ASD Ohio created step-by-step advocacy tools you can use right now:

• A customizable letter/email to your legislators
• A short call script for quick outreach
• A letter/email to the Ohio House Insurance Committee
• A thank-you letter encouraging continued action from Governor DeWine

Every message helps show how urgently Ohio needs a stronger, more stable system for autism care. You don’t have to be an expert, and you don’t need to know everything about legislation. Your story and your voice are enough.
