Today we played a hilarious game where everyone had to move a cookie from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands — just facial expressions and sheer determination! The room was full of laughter as cookies slid down their faces, fell to the floor, and occasionally made it to someone’s mouth. It was such a silly, lighthearted game that brought out everyone’s goofy side.

We want to give a big thank you to Jessica from Brighton Hospice for coming out and painting pumpkins with us! Everyone had such a wonderful time letting their creativity shine. Each pumpkin turned out so unique and full of personality — from bright and cheerful designs to spooky and silly faces. It was the perfect way to welcome the fall season, and we truly appreciate Jessica for bringing her warmth, talent, and positive energy to our day!

Today we got to enjoy the amazing musical talents of the Central Heights choirs, and what a treat it was! Their beautiful voices filled the building and echoed down the halls, bringing so much joy and energy to everyone who heard them. It was such a fun and uplifting experience for all of us!

Today we made beautiful pink ribbons in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each ribbon was crafted with care and love, serving as a small but powerful reminder of hope, strength, and support for those affected by breast cancer. As we pinned them on, we celebrated survivors, remembered loved ones, and stood together in unity for awareness and early detection. It was a meaningful and heartfelt activity that brought us together for an important cause.

This week we stayed busy working on a spooky-sparkly Halloween craft—crystallized flowers! With a little patience, some science, and a lot of creativity, our plain blooms transformed into glittering works of art. It was fun to see each flower take on its own unique sparkle, like something straight out of a witch’s garden. Between the laughter, the experimenting, and the excitement of watching the crystals form, the project was the perfect mix of busy hands and festive Halloween magic. Thank you Tyler from ACG for all your help this week, we truly appreciate you!

Today we set out on a little adventure and made our way to the historic Plaza Cinema 1907. We enjoyed watching Robin Hood on the big screen. What an extraordinary day!

Today we had a blast making donut spiders—a cute, creative, and tasty little snack that brought lots of smiles! With chocolate donuts, pretzel legs, and candy eyes, our spooky treats were as fun to make as they were to eat. A big thank you goes out to Pat Nicholson for generously donating all the goodies we needed to put these edible critters together!

Today we had a wonderful time turning simple pinecones into colorful “flowers” with a little paint, creativity, and imagination. Each pinecone bloomed into something unique—bright reds, cheerful yellows, calming violets, and everything in between. It was fun to see how a natural, rustic pinecone could be transformed into a beautiful piece of art, and everyone enjoyed both the painting and the chance to show off their creativity. A simple craft, but one that truly made our day blossom!
