When you can, please visit the IMpact Massage Therapy website and send a letter of support to your state legislators.
Illinois has a compact bill filed and in committee at this time. We need to let Illinois legislators know this bill will be a great law!
Not only will the massage compact allow massage therapists to practice in participating states and help in getting military personal and their families back to work sooner BUT there are ALSO intentions in this law to help curb human trafficking. This bill adds tools for participating states to more thoroughly vet those that want to come into Illinois and practice massage therapy.
