Here’s the recipe for Witches Brew. Two black teabags in a quarter cup of boiling water, add a half a teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of peroxide. Let it steep until it’s just cool enough to gargle with. The hotter you can stand at the better because hotter kills more virulent germs. So gargle and spit and you will be astonished at what you see in the sink. The tannic acid from the tea, the heat from the boiling water, sodium chloride and peroxide can kill germs, especially if caught early enough.

Our esteemed patient, Sandy Welsh, is a Clinical Herbalist. She recommends using Golden Seal during these trying times. Sinus irrigation is an effective way to clean your nasal passages where pathogens can linger. Squeeze bottles, Neti pots and battery operated sinus irrigators work well. Use the packets of salt/bicarb sold in pharmacies. If you suspect an infection, use powdered Golden Seal. The most important thing to remember when sinus washing is to make sure you can breath through BOTH nostrils before starting. The water needs a place to go. This works best if you catch the infection at the very beginning.

Hi Everyone,
We hope you all are well. Dr Ford is seeing patients on a staggered schedule starting March 23. The plan is to schedule patients far enough apart to limit contact with other people. We'll have one patient in at a time. You can wait in your car and we'll come get you when it's your turn. Our office is using an ozone machine to clean the air, sterilizing the table with UVC, no signing of credit slips, and all surfaces will be sanitized. Dr Ford will be using a mask, goggles and gloves. If you use the water table, please bring your own blanket. If possible use your bathroom before your visit to minimize contact.
Please notify us if you have any questionable symptoms or fever and do not come in if you do
