The Haney Family Association was founded in 1910 by Dr. John Louis Haney and other family members to Haney, and Aaron S. Haney of Ottsville (Bucks County), PA.

The Haney Family Association was founded in 1910 by Louis Haney, Michael G. With the exception of the years of World War II, we have held reunions every year since 1910.

The Haney Family Association is excited to announce that we have copies of the 4th book available to purchase!

Book #4, first printed after the 100th reunion, $15

This book contains a full reprint of the first Haney book, authored by Dr. John Louis Haney, first president of the association, published in 1930. It also provides a list of all of the Haneys who have served on the association's board, details about the 100th reunion, and coverage of the secretary's notes from throughout our first 100 years of reunions

Shipping for this book will be $6 for 1 copy, $7.50 for 2 copies. Copies will also be available for purchase at this year’s reunion in July.

We’re still working on finding a printer to produce additional copies of Book #3, hoping to have them available at this year’s reunion as well!

The Haney Family Association is excited to announce that we are once again hoping to offer prints of the 3rd and 4th Haney books - and we are taking preorders! Details are below:

Book #3, known as the yellow book, $30

Originally published in 1988 by Harold Haney and Grace Sassaman, this book is filled with genealogical history of our family. Formatted in a genealogical sequence, it traces the Haney Family tree from its origins with Jacob Heaney and Catherine Weisbecher to the mid 1980s. Efforts are currently being undertaken to create an additional volume that will cover 1980-present.

Book #4, first printed after the 100th reunion, $15

This book contains a full reprint of the first Haney book, authored by Dr. John Louis Haney, first president of the association, first published in 1930. Haney Family Cookbook, $15 - no preorder necessary, ready to go!

This cookbook, published after the 100th reunion, is filled with Haney family favorites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, including many recipes that have been brought to the reunion over the years.

Books will most likely be available for pickup at the reunion on July 17th, or will be able to be shipped in late July for a fee estimated at $7 per book. Exact shipping costs will be made available once the preorder threshold is reached.

Preorders must be emailed to haneyfamilyassociation@yahoo.com by July 1st. We need 15 preorders of each book by that date to help to cover the cost of the printing. Once we reach our preorder threshold, we will follow up with payment and pickup/shipping detail

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the 110th (and first virtual) Haney Family Reunion last weekend! It was great to see everyone, including so many new faces. Look for information to come about a potential mini virtual reunion in December, and (hopefully) an in person event July 2021!
