If you sit at a desk all day, your hips and shoulders are probably begging for this.
Here are 3 simple stretches you can do right at your desk.
1️⃣ Seated Figure-4 Hip Stretch Sit tall, cross your ankle over the opposite knee, and lean forward until you feel that stretch in your hip. Hold for 20 seconds, then switch sides.
2️⃣ Standing Hip Flexor Stretch Stand at the back of your chair, step one foot slightly behind you, bend your front knee, and tuck your pelvis slightly under. Feel that stretch in the front of your back hip. You can also go up on your toes for a little extra release.
3️⃣ Shoulder Roll + Chest Opener Roll your shoulders forward 5x, then backward 5x. Clasp your hands behind your back and gently lift and open that chest up! Perfect for all those anteriorly rotated shoulders from typing all day.
