In honor of Nurses Week, MAC would like to spotlight some of our very own. Meet our Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Shannon Henkel! On top of the behind the scenes work she does to ensure our day to day operations run smoothly, Shannon also continues to work bedside at our office based anesthesia sites, and also at our Ketamine Clinic.

Favorite color: pink
Favorite food: nachos
Hobbies: flowers, plants and anything near a pool or body of water.

Most rewarding part of my job: I am able to love on people daily. There’s no greater feeling than having a patient or family member sincerely thank me for caring for them or their child.

In honor of Nurses Week, MAC would like to spotlight some of our very own team members!

Nichole has been with MAC for 3 years. With 14 years of Emergency Department experience, and 10 of those at Children's Mercy she loves working with little ones. She is a busy mom of 3 active kiddos, which keeps her bouncing between soccer games, dance competitions and basketball courts. Outside of taking care of her family, she also loves walking, running, and the Chiefs.

Her favorite thing about MAC is continuing to work with children and their families to make sure they feel safe. And our rockstar physician group makes MAC unique and special!
