Our Story

We are proud to be a Kansas City based Mobile Modified Barium Swallow company. Our state of the art X-Ray devices and automotives allow us to provide convenient and quality care to your patients suffering from dysphagia. MDD launched in 2016 and provide services an hour radius of Kansas City. Our goal is to improve the quality of life to a variety of patients in skilled nursing homes, rehab hospitals, assisted living, independent living and home health. Our staff consists of specially trained Speech-Language Pathologists, Physicians, and Radiology Technicians. Our goal is to be a reliable resource and added member of your team in order to ensure each patient receives the best timely and efficient care. We are firm believers in quality of life and want your patient to consume the least restrictive diet possible. What sets us apart? We are Medicare approved participating physicians which means we can bill insurance directly and Medicare A patients fall under consolidated billing. This reduces the facility costs tremendously but also does not make the patient responsible for payment. Our typical turn around is 1-3 days, no more waiting several weeks for your patient to have an appointment at the hospital. We provide your SLP with immediate recommendations and a disc or flash drive to review the video when needed.
