Decker Integrated O+P Honored with 2025 Freedom Award
Orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) providers from across the country are recognized for their exceptional care of
military personnel.
(OVERLAND PARK, KS) – Decker Integrated O+P is among several orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) providers
across the nation that were recently honored with the 2025 Freedom Award.
The annual award, sponsored by Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA), recognizes O&P
providers who deliver exceptional standards of care for military personnel needing orthotic and prosthetic
devices.
“O&P professionals play a vital role not only in the lives of individual patients but also in the health and
resilience of entire communities,” said Jeff Kessler, Director of OPGA. “Their work with veterans often inspires
broader awareness and appreciation for the O&P profession, and the OPGA Freedom Award helps shine a
light on that ripple effect of care and commitment.”
Recipients of the 2025 Freedom Award received a printed award to display in their patient care facilities.
“This award is a small but meaningful token of appreciation for the skill, expertise, and value that these
facilities bring to the veterans they serve,” continued Kessler. “We are proud to highlight their unwavering
dedication to the distinguished veterans they treat and their ongoing commitment to our nation’s armed forces.”

Danielle Holloway, FNP-C received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 at Baker University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is experienced in orthopedics, emergency medicine, urgent care, family practice, rehab medicine, wound care, and hospice medicine.

We love to see that people use the prosthetics we make them. As I was working on this one this week I thought about how important what we do is. This young man works hard. Mows lawns all summer. Mowing is winding down and he’s putting up Christmas lights. This winter he’ll be clearing snow. He goes home where he has a life that is challenging right now. He doesn’t need his leg to be a hinderance. We do much more than make arms and legs. We give life back.
