Is My Child Ready to Attend School?
Starting school is about more than academics. It comes with new expectations, routines, and social demands. Before academics even come into play, there are key skills that children need to participate and be successful in a classroom.
In ABA therapy, we focus on the foundational skills that matter most for school, including:
• Listening & attention - following directions and staying engaged in activities
• Communication - asking for help, expressing needs, and interacting with others
• Flexibility - handling changes, waiting, and adapting to new situations
• Social skills - sharing, taking turns, and engaging with peers
At Limitless ABA, we focus on helping children build these skills before entering the school environment so they are ready to learn from the start! Every child develops at their own pace, but targeted support through ABA therapy can make a meaningful difference in how they adjust to and function within a school setting.
