73,838 lives lost to fentanyl overdoses in one year.

That number is heartbreaking, but it’s more than a statistic. It represents sons, daughters, parents, and friends whose stories didn’t get the chance to continue. 💔

While we’ve seen some progress, the reality is clear: the fentanyl crisis is still impacting our communities every single day.

At Friends of Recovery Association, we remain committed to:
💙 Raising awareness
💙 Reducing stigma
💙 Expanding access to recovery support and life-saving resources

🆘 You can help save a life. Request overdose prevention resources, including naloxone, here: https://4-f.bid/naloxone

Recovery is possible and every life is worth fighting for.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please know you are not alone. Reach out. Start the conversation. Keep going.

At the height of the epidemic, 73,838 lives were lost to fentanyl overdoses—more than 200 per day.🕊️

Behind each number is a future cut short.💔

While recent data shows progress, the fentanyl crisis is not behind us.

We must keep going—expanding awareness, prevention, and access to life-saving care—to truly turn the tide.

Tomorrow is May… which means we’re about to may-ke some moves 💪🌱

At Friends of Recovery Association, May isn’t just another month, it’s 31 more chances to show up, support each other, and keep pushing forward (even if we’re still finishing April’s to-do list 😅).

Recovery doesn’t wait for perfect timing, it happens one day, one step, one “you’ve got this” at a time.

Let’s make May count 💜

⚠️ One Pill. One Line. Think Twice. ⚠️

Fentanyl has changed everything. Fake pills and contaminated powders are showing up in places people don’t expect, at parties, from friends, and online. Many look exactly like real medications, making them extremely dangerous.

💭 What’s happening right now:
• Pills that look like Xanax or Adderall may be fake
• Fake pills often contain deadly amounts of fentanyl
• Co***ne and other powders are increasingly found to contain fentanyl
• There is no reliable way to tell what’s inside just by looking

We believe knowledge saves lives. This isn’t about fear—it’s about staying alive and protecting our community. 💙

📢 Remember:
No random pills. No random powders.
Share this message and help spread awareness. Someone’s life could depend on it.

🚨 Fake Pills. Real Danger. 🚨

Fake prescription pills made with fentanyl, sometimes called “fentapills”, are becoming more common in our communities and online. Many are made to look like medications such as oxycodone, Percocet, or Xanax, but may contain deadly amounts of fentanyl.

⚠️ Important reminders:
• Only take medication prescribed to you by your doctor
• Never trust pills from friends, social media, or the street
• Even one pill can be deadly
• Fentanyl is extremely potent and often unevenly mixed, making every pill unpredictable

At FORA, we believe education saves lives. Sharing information like this helps protect our families, friends, and community members. 💙

📢 Help us spread awareness—share this post and talk to someone you care about today.

While overdose deaths are down from record highs, too many young lives are still at risk from fake prescription pills made with fentanyl.
