Most accreditation surveys don’t fail because of one big issue. It’s the small gaps:

When Brandon talks about sterile processing, he calls it the behind-the-scenes work that makes surgery possible. Treating it that way is crucial. “Success starts with attention to detail,” he says.

As a Sterile Processing Supervisor and one of our Surgical Stars, Brandon brings a clear point of view to the work: do the right thing, collaborate frequently, and take ownership when challenges arise.

Every instrument cleaned and sterilized under his watch helps prevent infections, a critical aspect of safe procedures. “By delivering reliable, high-quality trays on time,” he explains, “we help the OR team focus on the patient without delays or worries about equipment readiness.”

When leading, he balances high expectations with empathy. He listens. He ensures training is refreshed regularly. He celebrates their wins. “Balancing accountability with genuine care has made me a more effective and approachable leader.”
