Running a hospital has never been easy. Running one in 2026 is something else entirely.

The latest ACHE survey of community hospital CEOs tells a clear story: financial pressure and workforce challenges are tied at the top, an outcome that has not happened in 16 years of tracking. The era of cost-cutting is effectively over. There is nothing left to trim without affecting patient care.

The question worth asking is whether there is still recoverable value inside the perioperative suite. For most hospitals, the answer is yes.

Most people in procurement understand the value of accuracy. Some understand that the real job is making sure nobody ever has to ask where things stand. Silda is one of them.
