Your heart is more than just a muscle.

It's a dynamic organ that beats to the rhythm of your daily choices - what you eat, how you move, rest, and manage stress. Heart health is built in the little things.

Add some color to your plate.
Movement that makes you feel alive.
Stress support that calms your mind.
Sleep that rejuvenates you.

Know your numbers and take control.

Ready to prioritize your heart health? Let's chat about your numbers, symptoms, or risk factors. You don't have to do it alone.

By February, the push of New Year’s resolutions often softens—but the need for resilience becomes clearer.

As people return to workouts or increase activity, winter physiology still matters. Shorter days, lingering illness, stress, poor sleep, and inflammation can quietly affect heart rhythm, endurance, recovery, and injury risk.

This is the season where pushing harder doesn’t build strength—adaptation does.

Winter Wellness Warriors focus on:
• building cardiovascular and nervous system resilience
• understanding their baseline before increasing demand
• supporting recovery alongside movement
• listening to fatigue instead of overriding it

February is not about stopping momentum—it’s about preparing the systems that support it.

Resilience lasts longer than resolution.
Build wisely. Because there is a better way!

Follow our Winter Wellness Warriors series for thoughtful, science-informed guidance on building resilience through seasonal transitions.

Valentine’s Day can be sweet, celebratory, quiet, joyful, reflective; or a mix of all of it.

But regardless of how you spent it, your body continues responding to your daily patterns.
Consistent sleep regulates hormones.
Balanced meals stabilize blood sugar and mood.
Stress regulation protects cardiovascular and immune function.
Gentle movement improves circulation and energy production.

These aren’t dramatic changes. They are steady inputs that shape long-term health. After any celebration, the most powerful reset is not restriction or guilt. It is returning to rhythm.

Valentine’s Day often comes with chocolate. The good news? Dark chocolate can contain beneficial plant compounds called flavonoids.

Flavonoids support vascular health by helping maintain nitric oxide levels, which allows blood vessels to relax and function properly. They also help counter oxidative stress, a contributor to inflammation and cardiovascular strain.

Not all chocolate is equal. Processing and sugar content significantly affect flavonoid levels. When choosing dark chocolate, look for 70% cacao or higher for meaningful antioxidant value.

As always, whole food sources come first. Supplementation may be considered when clinically appropriate.
If heart health is one of your goals this year, we can help you evaluate your numbers and create a strategic plan.

You love deeply. You give generously. You show up without hesitation. But many women we speak with are exhausted; not because they don’t care, but because they rarely include themselves in the equation.

Self-love isn’t indulgent. It’s regulatory. When you honor your limits, rest when needed, nourish your body, and seek support, your nervous system shifts out of survival mode. Over time, that shift impacts hormones, sleep, digestion, and mood.

Love is not just emotional. It is physiological. This month, we invite you to include yourself in the circle of care.

Comment “ME” if you’re choosing one intentional act of self-care this week.
Or share this with someone who constantly puts themselves last.

Hormone imbalances often show up quietly at first. Fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest. Weight changes that feel unexplained. Mood shifts that don’t feel like “you.”

Estrogen, cortisol, and insulin don’t work in isolation. They influence each other every day, which is why symptoms can feel confusing or dismissed when only one number is checked.

At our clinic, we look at hormones as part of a bigger picture. Stress, blood sugar, inflammation, and lifestyle all matter when it comes to finding real balance, not just temporary relief.

If something here resonates, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Comment the word ‘HORMONES’ and we’ll share how personalized, bio-identical hormone support may help you feel more like yourself again.

Winter Wellness Wisdom

February is Heart Health Month—a reminder that true cardiovascular health isn’t built by pushing harder, but by supporting the body wisely during its natural winter rhythm.

Before spring activity ramps up, this is the ideal time to:
• assess how your heart is functioning now
• understand your baseline
• identify patterns that may affect energy, endurance, and resilience

At The Center for Intentional Health, we offer a Smart Heart EKG as a simple, non-invasive way to establish a cardiovascular baseline—especially helpful if you’ve experienced fatigue, stress, inflammation, or are planning to increase activity in the months ahead.

📍Consider scheduling a Smart Heart EKG to better understand where you are before asking more of your body.

Wellness is built intentionally—one informed step at a time.

Super Bowl Sunday brings excitement, but it can also jack up stress, disrupt sleep routines, and leave your nervous system racing long after the game ends.

You don’t have to choose between enjoying the day and protecting your calm. These small intentional resets (like mindful breathing, soft body awareness, and balanced drinks and snacks) can help your body stay steady during the big game.

Your nervous system still matters. Whether you’re cheering from the couch or enjoying half-time commercials. 🧠💛

The secret to strong heart health isn't in another supplement. It's in the food you should already be eating every day.

Key nutrients that support heart health like Fiber, Potassium, B Vitamins, Antioxidants, Healthy Fats, and Omega-3's can be obtained through a balanced diet. Potential deficiencies in these nutrients should be checked by a healthcare professional before the addition of supplements.

Working with a Nutritionist is an easy way to ensure your diet is supporting your entire body, not just your heart. That is why diet checks and nutrient absorption labs are recommended to not just patients of our weight loss program. The food you put in your body is just as important as the supplements and medications you add on top.
