Such an inspiring story!💜 We are honored to support Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer during our Annual Customer Appreciation event!

Remember, 10% of our proceeds this entire week will go to support this incredible organization, helping to bring hope and healing to these amazing kids!

Today we share the incredible story of a boy whose courage continues to inspire us all. Meet Chase. If you have been lucky enough to meet Chase at our Hope Gala or another Braden’s Hope event, you know that this story doesn’t define him. He is full of smiles, laughter and full of life.

Today is the anniversary of Chase’s family hearing the dreaded cancer diagnosis: rhabdomyosarcoma. Chase endured 18 months of eight different chemotherapy treatments and had a large resection surgery that removed over 8 vertebrae and 6 of his ribs.

After treatment, Chase had severe complications from his spinal resection that led to kyphosis, scoliosis, myelopathy, neuropathy, and spinal cord damage. This led to years of spinal growing rods, halo-gravity traction, and a spinal fusion at only 11 years old. While the rods did allow him some mobility, they broke often (turns out the body really likes bones) and he has had more than 45 surgeries to help correct the damage from cancer and the treatments.
