Breast Cancer and Colon Cancer Awareness months are upon us! So in order to help promote the health of our community, OFHC will be raffling off a basket for those who get there screenings done!

For breast cancer awareness, you will be automatically entered if we receive your mammo results from now til the end of October!

For colon cancer awareness, you will be automatically be entered if we receive your colonoscopy results between now and end of November

Please get your records to us if you’d like to participate and keep our community healthy!

We are proud to partner with the Hillcrest Medical Research in DeLand to serve as a sub-investigator on the upcoming Moderna COVID trial starting in the next few weeks

We are looking for willing participants who:
1) Have less than 6 COVID vaccines
2) Are 12 years or older
3) Can make 5-6 in person visits and 3 remote visits
4) Have not had COVID or COVID vaccine in the last 90 days

You will receive:
1) Either the existing Moderna COVID vaccine or the new variant vaccine (no placebo)
2) Up to $1500 for your time and travel (incrementally) for 5-6 in person visits and 3 remote visits

Please fill out form below (a new one for each family member interested). You will be contacted by a research assistant to walk you through the process and get you set up for screening.

The CDC has approved COVID immunizations for 5-12 year and we plan on giving the shots as soon as they are available to us. Unfortunately, we do not have the pediatric dosages in at this time and we cannot order the shots from the state until November 8th. We will have clinics as soon as we get them in! Keep an eye out here for updates on when the shots will be available!!
