We have had a lot of people ask lately. There are some common misconceptions when it comes to optometry and what services we offer and insurances we take.

We are in network with most major medical insurances (BCBS, Community Care, United Healthcare, Health Choice, Aetna, Medicare, Medicaid AND MANY MORE) and most major vision insurances (VSP, EYEMED, Spectera, Vision Care Direct, AND MORE).

We bill MEDICAL insurance for any acute eye complaint or injury-
📍 red eye
📍 pink eye
📍 metal in the eye
📍 any eye injury
📍 flashes of light
📍 floaters
📍 dry eye
📍 eye irritation
📍 eye pain
📍 sudden loss or change in vision

The chronic conditions we bill your MEDICAL insurance for include:

📍 monitoring for diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy
📍 macular degeneration
📍 cataracts
📍 Plaquenil monitoring

We bill vision insurance plans for your comprehensive annual eye exam, RX check, contact lens fittings, frames, contacts.

We would like to welcome Dr. Charlea Leonard!! She will be seeing patients on Mondays starting April 6th! Give us a call to get scheduled!! 918-272-5755

Dr. Charlea Leonard was born and raised in Ada, OK. She attended Murray State College and East Central University where she played collegiate basketball during her undergrad years. She graduated from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2025. Dr. Leonard currently practices with Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry as a Clinical Assistant Professor and is joining our practice part time. Dr. Leonard has two dogs and trains for half-marathons in her free time.
