To say our residents were beyond excited on Christmas Eve would be an understatement. The big man himself made a special stop at Timberdale Trace before beginning his busy night of delivering presents, bringing with him gifts that were graciously provided by our families, staff, friends, and the wonderful Owatonna community.

The day was filled with tears of joy, heartfelt laughter, and unforgettable moments shared by all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make these special surprises possible and turned so many unspoken wishes into reality.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for making this holiday season truly magical.

***UPDATE** Due to the kind generosity of our friends and neighbors here in Owatonna. All of the names on the trees have been taken and spoken for. My sincere thanks to the community and those that have grabbed names and have adopted our residence to make this a great Christmas for them Stay tuned for pictures on Christmas Eve with the big guy himself all the way from the north pole.

Our Giving Tree at Timberdale Trace is officially up and ready for anyone who would like to participate!

Please feel free to stop in, select an ornament, and take the corresponding envelope.

What is the Giving Tree?
Similar to “Adopt-a-Family,” each ornament represents one of our residents. The matching envelope identifies whether the resident is male or female and includes a short list of items they would benefit from the most.

How to Participate:
1. Visit our Assisted Living building and choose an ornament. 334 Cedardale Dr SE.
2. Fill out the attached form with your contact information.
3. Shop for your assigned resident.
4. Return a wrapped gift with the assigned number attached no later than December 20, 2025.

On Christmas Eve, a very special visitor from the North Pole will be joining us to deliver gifts to all of our well-behaved residents.

We would love to see every resident “adopted” this year. If you prefer not to shop, monetary donations are also welcome. All donated funds will be used to purchase gifts for residents who were not selected. If every resident is adopted, remaining funds will be used to purchase items that can be enjoyed by the entire community.

Thank you for helping make the holidays bright at Timberdale Trace!
