One method of therapy we use at NFLC is sand tray therapy. At first glance you might think this method is just for children, but it's not! Here's how it works...

Our brains process information with pictures first and then words. The images are stored in the right brain. Words happen in the left brain. Sometimes images stay stuck in the right brain and never move to the left brain to be processed.

Trauma, feelings, and emotions are stored in the right brain. This is where sand tray therapy can help. When you make a world in the sand we discover things that you may not have known were there.

Sand tray therapy helps us to understand your needs better so you can heal faster. We find information that you could not put into words. The sand tray is for people of all ages, both children and adults.
