We had the best time celebrating at our Independent Living Christmas party today! 🎄✨ The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and so much holiday cheer. A huge shout-out to our amazing volunteers who gave up part of their holiday to spread joy, warmth, and Christmas spirit to our residents. Your kindness truly made the day extra special, and our residents felt every bit of it. We are so grateful for hearts like yours that make this season shine a little brighter! ❤️🎁

We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating at our Assisted Living Christmas Party today! 🎄✨ Residents enjoyed decorating festive stockings, painting Christmas cookies, and indulging in plenty of gingerbread men and delicious finger foods 🎨🍪🍬. The room was filled with joyful conversation, laughter, and the sweet sounds of classic Christmas music playing in the background 🎶❤️. It was a heartwarming day full of holiday cheer, creativity, and togetherness that truly captured the spirit of the season!

Rocket City Mom just posted and shared our event and I could NOT be more excited!!! 🚂✨

Please come join us this Friday from 12:00–1:30 PM for our All Aboard the Charter Express event! We planned it especially for the 19th since HCS has a half day 🎒👏

This intergenerational event is sure to bring smiles to every face—young and young at heart! 💖

Here’s what’s happening:
🍪 Cookie painting
☕ Hot cocoa
🎨 Artist station with coloring & painting
🧦 Decorate a stocking
🎲 Fun games
🎅 Pictures with Santa

Then at 1:30 PM, we’ll wrap things up with a showing of 🎥 The Polar Express, complete with 🍿 popcorn, 🍬 candy, and 🥤 drinks!

We can’t wait to see you there—this is one you won’t want to miss! ❄️🚂✨

We truly love hosting intergenerational events with our seniors—it’s such a special experience for everyone involved. With that in mind, we kindly ask that if you or your little ones are feeling under the weather at all, please feel comfortable sitting this one out. Our seniors are especially susceptible to illness, and their health is so important to us.

Don’t worry—we host events all year long and can’t wait to see you at a future one. If everyone is feeling well, we’ll see you Friday! 💛

🧤🎄 It’s National Mitten Tree Day! 🎄🧤

Today, we’re celebrating the warmth of hands and hearts by decorating our very own Mitten Tree! Every mitten added to our tree isn’t just a decoration; it’s a symbol of love, kindness, and the joy of giving during the chilly winter months.

Everyone is invited to help “warm up” the season by contributing mittens, gloves, or hats to our giving tree. These items will be donated to local shelters and families in need.

Let’s come together, spread warmth, and turn our community tree into a tower of compassion. ❄️💙

🎄 Winter Candy Gram Fundraiser! 🍬

We’re excited to kick off our Winter Candy Gram Fundraiser!

For just $3, you can send a mini stocking filled with candy to a resident or staff member — with the option to include a tag from the sender. All Candy Grams will be delivered here at the community on Christmas Eve.

You can pay with cash at the front desk or with Chelsie, or simply scan the QR code to make your donation. If you use the QR code, please text Chelsie at 615-582-7999 so she can record your purchase, who it’s for, and how many you’d like.

Many of you ask each year how you can help spread holiday cheer — and we have a special request! We would love 3x5 index cards with a holiday message, and maybe a festive drawing on the back. The mini stockings perfectly fit a 3x5 card, and we hope to include one in every Candy Gram.

Please share this with local schools or families who may want to contribute — we’d be thrilled to have students create the cards and artwork!
