This past week, Ashley Jones, LPC with Rocket City Counselor and Lindsay Taylor, LMFT with Hope Springs Counseling, met with our Crisis Negotiation Response Team to share how mental health professionals interact with individuals in crisis.

They also provided practical techniques to help officers communicate more effectively and safely during high-stress situations. Partnerships like this help us respond with care, professionalism and understanding when it matters most.🤝

Community partners like Cove Church who believe in and support our mission are vital in helping us reach those who need hope and healing. Please consider joining them by contributing to their annual Big Give which will help our organization and also Kids to Love- another valuable community partner. See below for details.

There are a lot of worthy causes to donate to this Giving Tuesday. If you are looking for one, we’d be honored if you considered The Big Give.

The Big Give is Cove’s year-end missional campaign. Since 2006, our church family has raised more than $3 million to support global and local causes, including disaster relief after devastating storms and organizations working to combat addiction and poverty.

This year’s recipients are HopeSprings Counseling and Kids to Love. Both are vital organizations that provide hope and healing.

Donations through The Big Give will directly benefit mental health support for the people HopeSprings serve, allowing the organization to expand and enhance services. The group feels especially called to care for those who serve: military personnel, first responders, ministers and missionaries and foster and adoptive parents. Funds allocated to Kids to Love will meet urgent foster care needs and provide specialized mental health services and support for children and their families.
