For 34 years, Robbin’s expertise and leadership has ensured numerous successes for WKRBC.

She began her career at WKRBC as a PRN phlebotomist but showed early interest in recruitment, which came naturally to her because of her passion about blood donation and often made it hard for others to refuse.

Robbin later went on to become our director of recruitment, where she excelled for 15 years. She had the opportunity to chase a dream and briefly left WKRBC before returning to public relations for our Hopkinsville center.

As she rides off into the sunset for a well-deserved retirement, Robbin’s big heart, big smile, and quick wit will be missed by donors and co-workers alike.

Robbin is looking forward to travel and if you know her, then you already know she has plenty more memories to be made. We love and will miss you! — Your WkRBC work family.

We’re excited to partner with Sarah Mills and kyfarmbureau again this year for a fundraiser blood drive benefitting Borrowed Hearts Owensboro!

If you're not familiar with Borrowed Hearts, they are a philanthropic mission to provide clothing, hygiene products, toys, support, and love to children and families in vulnerable situations.

From 2/9-2/13, you'll be saving local lives AND supporting Owensboro families in need when you donate blood at WKRBC. Hours for this drive are 9-4 Monday and Wednesday through Friday and 8-8 on Tuesday.
