Rarely do I stumble upon a writer or Podcaster (is that a word?) whose ideas floor me. Typically, I see the same information on trauma presented in a clinical fashion or what resonates as a recycled version of what has been said thousands of times before. Those of you who know me understand that I do not hold back when validating survivors of abuse. No sugar-coating. No excuses for abusers (though understanding their wounds may be relevant). Have a look at this guy's fb page. Yes, there are concepts in the content you've heard before, but I bet you will find validating surprises as well...such as permission to not forgive your abusers. I will always honor fierce advocates and brutally honest clinicians. Nate Postlethwait is unapologetic and fierce. You won't be sorry you took a moment to bathe in his words.
