Burger Week stop #4, and our second dessert burger of the day, brought Dr. Rowland and Hannah to The Sweet Spot! 🍔🍪

They tried “The Burgie,” a fun dessert burger made with a brownie “patty,” cookie “bun,” and sweet icing “cheese,” “lettuce,” and “ketchup.” It may look like a burger… but it’s 100% dessert. 😋

You can find The Sweet Spot food truck parked outside of Kim’s Diner, so stop by and give this sweet Burger Week creation a try!

Burger Week stop #3 (and our first dessert burger!) had to be from Becca Bakes! 🍔🍪

Dr. Rowland and her daughter Maddie teamed up to try Becca's "Whooped Up Burger" and it might just be the sweetest stop of the week. This creative treat features a vanilla whoopie pie cookie bun, a thick brownie “burger,” and buttercream “fixings,” all served with a berry coulis “barbecue” dipping sauce and crinkle sugar cookie “fries.”

Safe to say this burger satisfied our sweet tooth in the best way. 🍫✨ Have you tried this dessert burger yet?

Burger Week stop #2 brought us to Ole South Barbeque for The Sloppy “G.” 🍔🔥

Dr. Rowland and Sonya gave this unique BBQ twist on a sloppy joe a try and let’s just say it definitely lived up to the hype. Fresh ground beef is chopped and blended with Ole South’s famous Hot N Smokey BBQ sauce, mixed with onions and jalapeño pieces, then topped with a slice of American cheese on a toasted bun.

Simple… a little messy… and seriously delicious. 😋 Have you tried Ole South’s Burger Week creation yet?

We kicked off Burger Week the only way we know how… by diving into the "Mom’s Spaghetti Burger" from Dee's Diner! 🍔🍝

Dr. Rowland and Brittany may or may not have completely "lost" themselves in this one. Two Italian-seasoned burger patties layered with angel hair pasta tossed in Dee’s slow-simmered red sauce (made with Italian sausage and ground beef), topped with melted mozzarella, all held together with buttery garlic Texas toast, Parmesan, and a crispy fried mozzarella stick on top.

Let’s just say… it was worth every bite. 😋 Have you tried this one yet?

Huge shoutout to the Daviess County Lady Panthers Basketball team for their big win last night! 🏀🎉

The 48-42 win against the Lady Aces of Owensboro Catholic was their first 9th District championship title since 2012! These girls showed grit, heart, and championship spirit all season long.

With seniors leading the way and big performances across the board, we’re so proud of how these young women represented Daviess County with hard work, resilience, and teamwork. 🙌❤️
