Our Board Certified Dermatologists, Dr. Michael J. Crowe & Dr. Artis P. Truett, III, have extensive training and 40+ years combined experience in MOHS Surgery, an advanced skin cancer surgery. Doctors Crowe and Truett are Fellows of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and provide services to patients in Kentucky and the surrounding areas and states including Indiana and Illinois. MOHS Surgery has a recurrence rate of only 1% as opposed to other procedures which are 5 – 10%.

Please welcome Daniel Cecil, PA-C, to the Owensboro Dermatology Family!

An Owensboro native, Daniel Cecil has been practicing in Bowling Green and is excited to be coming back and serving his hometown.

Prior to receiving his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Milligan University, Daniel earned his Bachelor’s in Social Work at Murray State University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He worked in Ministry and served as a Pastor in Brazil as well as the Lead Pastor of Whitesville Baptist Church.

He is bilingual in English and Portuguese and is currently learning Spanish. Daniel is committed to serving others through the practice of medicine and providing medical care in a compassionate manner.

There is no such thing as a “safe tan”.
A “base tan” does not prevent sun damage.
Tanning beds are not safer than the sun.
Tanning beds do not fix acne.
UVA rays are damaging.
All tanning causes premature aging.
