Dr. Kay Corpus’ approach to medicine involves uncovering the root cause of illness and disease, which, she believes, is essential to living well and in full vitality. In her clinical practice, she and her patients work together to illuminate how pathology occurs as a result of emotional, psychological, and spiritual imbalances. She elicits the act of personal story-telling from her patients through deep self-inquiry in order to help identify stuck emotion and energy beneath the symptoms and illness. Consequently, this clarifies their truth then liberates the soul. It is this essential process which cultivates and enhances the healing process. She believes that our biology is truly a result of our biography. Dr. Corpus combines the best of all worlds of healing-yoga, meditation, supplements, whole foods nutrition, homeopathy, Ayurveda, psychotherapy, energy medicine, bodywork, and conventional medicine, when appropriate-to arrive at an individual, comprehensive, and holistic treatment plan for her patients. Dr. Corpus is a board-certified Family Physician specializing in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She is also a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Dr. Corpus completed her family medicine residency at Penn State Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, a two-year Integrative Medicine fellowship with Andrew Weil, MD through the University of Arizona and training with Mark Hyman, MD with the Institute of Functional Medicine. She lives in Owensboro, KY with her beautiful family. Dr. Corpus is now a certified practitioner with the Whole Health Medicine Institute with Lissa Rankin, MD whereby she joins the new generation of visionary physicians in healing patients, communities, health care and humanity one person at a time.

Before reading The Soul of Menopause, some of the ladies told me they felt…

💭 Confused by what was happening to their bodies
💭 Disconnected from who they used to be
💭 Unsure what this next season of life would hold

But after reading, something beautiful happens.

They begin to see menopause not as an ending but as a becoming.
A return to their power, intuition, and self.

A deep exhale that says, “I’m finally home in my body again.” 🤎
This book isn’t just about hormones.

It’s about remembering who you are when everything else is changing.

When life finally quiets down, the kids are older, the house feels still, what starts to surface?
For many of us, that silence can feel uncomfortable. Old emotions, tension, even pain begin to rise. But maybe that’s not a bad thing… maybe it’s an invitation.

In this week’s podcast, I sit down with Lisa Loiseau () to talk about pain as communication, which is your body’s gentle way of asking you to pause, listen, and realign.

🎧 Episode 8 on the Soul of Menopause Podcast: “From Pain to Power: Unlock Healing in Menopause through Fascia & Movement with Lisa Loiseau, DPT” is out now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

Feeling more tired, moody, or foggy than usual?
It might not just be menopause, your adrenal health plays a huge role.

During this transition, your adrenal glands take over some of the hormone production your ovaries used to handle.

So when stress piles up (and let’s be honest, it often does), your adrenals get overworked and leads to:
⚡ Fatigue that never lifts
💭 Mood swings or anxiety
🌙 Trouble sleeping
🍫 Sugar or caffeine cravings

The good thing is, you can support them naturally:
🌬️ Practice slow, deep breathing (try 4-count in, 6-count out)
💧 Stay hydrated + add minerals
🍳 Eat balanced meals with protein and healthy fats
🧘 Move gently — walk, stretch, rest

Your adrenals are your body’s stress anchors.
When you care for them, everything feels a little more balanced. 🤎

Hi ladies,

✨ New Soul of Menopause podcast episode drops tomorrow! ✨

This one’s for every woman who’s ever felt her body trying to tell her something — through tension, fatigue, or pain.

I’m joined by Lisa Loiseau (), a movement therapist who helps women reconnect with their bodies and discover the deeper messages hidden within discomfort.

In this episode, we explore this powerful question:
💭 What if your pain isn’t something to fix… but something to listen to?

When we slow down and tune in, pain becomes a guide — showing us where healing and alignment want to happen.

🎧 Episode 8: “What Is Pain for You? A Problem to Fix or an Invitation to Listen?”
drops tomorrow on:

Hey beautiful,
Sometimes joy comes in tiny doses — a warm mug between your hands, the crunch of leaves underfoot, a song that lifts you up. 🍂

This week, give yourself permission to savor one small thing, guilt-free.
Let it be enough.

Not every day has to be productive.
Sometimes, it’s enough to just be here. 🤎

💬 What’s one small thing bringing you joy this week? Share it in the comments. You never know who might need that reminder too.

And if your body’s been asking for more rest, balance, or care lately, it might be time to check in with yourself on a deeper level.

🔥 Hot flashes keeping you up at night? Let’s talk about what’s really going on.
It’s not always just low estrogen.

Your body works like an orchestra and when one instrument is off (think cortisol, thyroid, liver, or stress), the whole rhythm can change.

If you’re tired of sleepless nights or unpredictable heat waves, know this: there’s always a reason, and it’s figure-out-able.

When you’re ready to get to the root of your symptoms, book a Menopause Review with me. Let’s talk about what’s really happening in your body and how to bring it back into balance. Get started here: https://kaycorpusmd.com/work-with-kay

Sometimes the clutter around us isn’t just stuff.
It’s energy, emotion, and stories we’ve outgrown.

In this clip from Episode 7 of the Soul of Menopause Podcast, Kimberly Garner and I explore how clearing our spaces can quiet the noise inside and how the state of our home often mirrors the state of our nervous system.

It’s not always about adding more…
Sometimes healing begins with taking things away.

Hey love,

Halloween’s almost here and it got me thinking…

How many little masks do we wear all year?
The “I’m fine.” mask.
The “I’ve got this.” mask.
The smile-through-it mask.

This week, try taking one of them off even just for a moment.
With a friend. A partner. Or quietly with yourself.

You don’t need to have it all together.
You just need to be real. That’s where true connection begins. 🤎

💬 Tell me below what’s one mask you’re ready to take off this week?

And if you’re ready to take off the mask around your health and finally talk about what’s really going on in your body, book a Menopause Review with me. Let’s explore what’s underneath and help you feel more like you again. Get started here: https://kaycorpusmd.com/work-with-kay
