Patient Education 101
What are your consequences if you no show/ no call for Physical Therapy
- you might think - no big deal well.. let’s look at that more carefully-
-If you are trying to get insurance to approve a MRI or surgery and the insurance wants to try PT first- no shows are a great way for you NOT to get the procedure approved
- if you are a motor vehicle or workers comp patient- No shows are a great way to get your case thrown out or lose your Work Comp benefits
- No shows are a great way to NOT show improvement in PT- which will result in your rehab being shut down
-No shows are a great way to show your Dr that you really don’t care and your Dr won’t need to spend much time with you anymore
- Medicaid is not impressed with no shows either

And last but certainly not least- more than 1 No show will mean you will have to find another place for PT which will result in having to drive further to get there putting a strain on your families schedule!!

Ziggys Physical Therapy has at least a voicemail if not someone to answer the phone. Really no good reason for a no show. But if think no one will know- please think again!! For my patients that call to Cancel- Thank you!!

So thankful to have them cuz you never know when you will need them!!
