DAYHAB

Today we said goodbye to someone very special - Megan, as she begins a new chapter. 💙

We celebrated with cake, laughter, and lots of memories with friends who care about her so much. While it’s hard to see her go, we’re so excited for all the new friendships and experiences waiting for her.

As the song says, “You’ve got a friend in me” — and that will always be true. No matter where she goes, she will always have friends here who are cheering her on.

We’re going to miss her smile and the joy she brought to our days. Her friendship means so much to all of us.

This isn’t goodbye forever — just the start of something new. Our door is always open, and she will always have a place in our hearts 💛

🌸🐣 Easter Fun at Med Day! 🐰🌼

What a beautiful day of celebration at our Med Day program! Our individuals enjoyed an exciting Easter egg hunt filled with fun surprises, along with games, prizes, bubbles, and lots of laughter. 🫧🎉

Smiles were everywhere as everyone joined in the festivities and made wonderful memories together. It was truly a day full of joy, connection, and springtime spirit!

💛 Fun was had by all — and we loved every minute of it! 💛

DAY HAB

The Day Habilitation program attended the Annual PEEP Show in Carroll County and had an excellent experience viewing the impressive marshmallow displays and sculptures. It was truly remarkable.

Our individuals had such a great time shooting hoops, learning new skills, and just enjoying the moment together. The energy, encouragement, and positivity they brought made the day truly special.

🏡 Job Summary

Progress Unlimited Inc. is seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support men and women with developmental disabilities in our residential homes.

Staff work as part of a team to provide:
✔ Supervision and guidance
✔ Behavior support
✔ Personal care
✔ Meal preparation
✔ Housekeeping

📍 Most homes are located within a 10-mile radius of our Owings Mills office.

🚗 Applicants must have a reliable vehicle at all times.

✨ Position Overview

We are looking for experienced, dedicated DSPs who are passionate about helping others grow, gain independence, and live meaningful lives.

In this role, you will provide hands-on support with daily living activities while encouraging independence and community involvement.

🧩 Responsibilities
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Perform lifting and transfers as needed (this is a physical role)
Administer medications (CMT/MBON required through Dimensional HealthCare Administration)
Provide transportation to appointments and activities using your personal vehicle
Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community outings
Monitor and report changes in health and behavior
Maintain accurate documentation of care and progress
Ensure a safe, clean, and structured home environment
Collaborate with team members, including nurses and support staff
Attend required trainings and staff meetings
⚠️ Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required at all times)
Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
🕒 Available Positions / Schedules

We are hiring for multiple roles and shifts:

Awake Overnight (Weekday & Weekend)
(Scheduled off-times may vary based on transportation schedules, appointments, and weather)
House Counselors (Weekday & Weekend)
(Must have valid license and vehicle at all times)
House Managers (Weekday & Weekend)
(Must have valid license and vehicle at all times)
