Today, we want to take a moment to recognize someone who plays a huge role in the day-to-day life here at Juniper Tree—Deserae, our incredible Culinary Artist 👩‍🍳

Deserae brings more than just great meals to the table—she brings heart, consistency, and a servant’s spirit every single day. From the moment she steps into the kitchen, she’s not just cooking… she’s creating an environment where our guys can experience structure, care, and something that feels like home.

Her meals are top tier (seriously… some of the best around 🔥), but what makes her impact even greater is how she pours into the guys. She takes the time to teach them how to cook, how to serve others, and how to clean up and take pride in their space. These are life skills that go far beyond the kitchen—they’re part of rebuilding a new way of living.

Deserae’s consistency, patience, and positive attitude make her a true blessing to our team. She shows up, gives her all, and helps create a culture of respect and growth.

Remember this:
You woke up today for a reason.
God is not finished with your story. The mistakes didn’t disqualify you. The setbacks didn’t cancel your calling. And the weight you’ve been carrying? He’s strong enough to hold it.
Today is not random.
It’s an opportunity.
An opportunity to forgive.
To grow.
To take one more step forward.
To choose faith over fear.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just take the next right step. Stay steady. Stay humble. Stay grateful.
This morning, breathe deep and remind yourself:

We want to give a special thank you to Chris Clem for coming out and pouring into our guys with a powerful message of hope. He shared about being called with purpose, and it truly resonated with everyone in the room.

He also went the extra mile by bringing Hunt Brothers Pizza for the whole house to enjoy, which meant a lot to the guys and created a time of connection and fellowship together.

God is moving in a real way at Juniper Tree, and we’re incredibly grateful for people like Chris who take the time to show up, speak life, and invest in the journey of recovery. This is what it’s all about!!

We want to give a special thank you to Pastor Daniel Lykins and Pastor Jared from The Refinery Church for coming and pouring into our guys.

It was a powerful time of worship, prayer, and genuine connection. You could feel the atmosphere shift as the room filled with hope, peace, and expectation.

We watched as many stepped forward, hungry for something deeper—seeking not just sobriety, but true transformation. Recovery isn’t just about breaking free from addiction, it’s about discovering purpose, identity, and a new way to live.

This is what it’s all about—real encounters, real change, and a new life being built one day at a time.

What an incredible day of connection, purpose, and fellowship.
Grateful for The Recovery Center - RCC and New Day Recovery Center for showing out and collaborating to be part of something bigger than any one program.
This wasn’t just an event—it was a reminder of what recovery is truly about. It’s about people coming together, breaking down walls, and standing united for one mission: life change.
Too many people still believe recovery is boring, restrictive, or just “getting by.” But today proved the opposite. There is joy here. There is laughter here. There is real fellowship here. There is freedom here.
Recovery isn’t the end of your life—it’s the beginning of the life you were meant to live.
There’s something powerful that happens when people who were once broken, bound, and counted out come together with purpose. You start to see strength rise. You see hope come alive again. You see men and women actually enjoying life—clear-minded, connected, and full of purpose.
If you’re still out there wondering if it’s possible for you—hear this:
It is.
