What are you looking at in this image?

These are examples of thermography scans, a technology that measures heat and blood flow patterns in the body. 🌡️

Because inflammation and abnormal vascular activity create heat, thermography can sometimes detect changes in tissue physiology before structural changes occur.

That means it can help identify patterns that may need further investigation.

Here are a few things shown in this image:

• Healthy symmetry – both breasts show similar temperature patterns and balanced circulation.
• Suspicious vascular activity – increased blood flow patterns that may need monitoring or further testing.
• Inflammatory breast disease – strong heat patterns indicating significant inflammation.
• Male breast c-word example – thermography can also detect abnormal heat patterns in men.
