Holiday visits make small changes easier to notice.

If a loved one needs more light to read, sits closer to the TV, or hesitates on steps, it could be time for an eye exam. Early care helps catch issues like cataracts or macular changes before they interrupt daily life. 👓

Encourage your loved ones to book an exam — they can start here: https://www.oxfordfamilyvisioncare.com/contact-us/?utm_source=meta&utm_medium=social

Every day is brighter when we see clearly. 👓

This December, Gift of Sight Month reminds us how powerful healthy vision really is—from a child seeing the board in class to a grandparent recognizing a familiar smile. Regular eye exams help protect those moments for life.

Your eyelashes are tiny shields for your eyes 👁️

Keeping them clean helps block dust and pollen, supports comfortable blinking, and reduces buildup from makeup or skin oils. A gentle cleanse at night and fresh mascara every few months go a long way.

Guess how many eyelashes the average person has or how long new lashes take to grow. Tell us in the comments!

Eye Fact Friday: We blink less during screen time 👀

Fewer blinks mean less natural moisture. That can leave eyes feeling dry or tired after work or school. A short pause, a few full blinks, and looking across the room can bring relief.

Try counting how many times you blink in a minute (spoiler: it’s less than you think!). Let us know what you find!
