🤍 Update from Flight Aesthetics + Salon 🤍
We remain closed due to continued power outages. Trees are still down on the main power lines coming into our building, preventing electricity in the salon portion of Flight. We are also dealing with a busted hot water heater, which is actively being worked on for replacement.
I know many of you are anxiously waiting to get into your appointments and please know, we feel the same. We truly miss seeing your faces. This business exists because of you, and we are deeply grateful for every patient and salon client who continues to support us with patience and understanding.
For the past few days, I’ve been out working in our community, and it’s hard to put into words the extent of what Lafayette County is facing. Many families are still without heat, water, or electricity. Some have no way to bathe, cook, or flush toilets. Food supplies are running low. As I type this, it’s 15 degrees outside and feels like 1.
Most of us at Flight are personally navigating the same challenges with no power, busted water lines, and limited phone service. I am trusting God’s timing in this pause, knowing that our residents are in much greater need right now.
You, my patients and salon clients are our lifelines, and we are beyond grateful for your continued support and grace. We can’t wait to welcome you back as soon as it is safe and fully functional to do so.
Please pray for our community. Check on your neighbors. I will continue to share updates as I receive them. There are so many volunteer opportunities to help Lafayette County overcome this setback.🤍
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10
And on a personal note… I am more than ready for spring.
Keep flying,
