Here is the latest road conditions across Iowa with towing not recommended in our area. If you have to go out, please drive safe! There have been many accidents already within the last 12 hours. Otherwise stay inside and watch your favorite Holiday movies (including Die Hard 😆)….

We Appreciate Your Support!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended our annual soup supper, which enjoyed a wonderful turnout. We sincerely hope that all attendees had a delightful experience and left feeling satisfied. The evening was a resounding success, and we eagerly anticipate next year's event. Thanks to your support, we can acquire state-of-the-art equipment, provide certification opportunities for new volunteers, and stay updated on the latest educational activities for our volunteers. We also extend our gratitude to everyone involved in organizing, donating, setting up the event, as well as those who assisted in the kitchen, silent auction and to everyone who helped clean up!

Tonight is the night!!!! Our soup supper will go from 4pm-8pm. We will be serving chili, chicken noodle, and potato soup; we will also have a vegetarian option for chili and potato soup. Cinnamon rolls and drinks to go with. This is a free will donation event and there will be a silent auction in city hall! See everyone tonight.

*entry into the soup supper will be through the entrance of city hall. To-go options is available as well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening of treat-giving to the numerous trick-or-treaters who stopped by. The impressive array of creative and spooky costumes was a treat in itself. Happy Halloween to all, and we extend an invitation to join us tomorrow night for our annual soup supper, where Halloween costumes are most welcome.
