In celebration of the 2026 Winter Olympics beginning tomorrow in Italy, we hosted our own OHR olympic games! Instead of skating and snow skiing, (those would be too easy 🤣) we challenged residents with Marshmallow Stacks, Straws and Skittles, and Ping Pong Toss! We had a great afternoon and our winners enjoyed their monetary prizes!!! Go USA!!!

After the ice storm, our community showed incredible resilience — and we wanted to do our part to give back.

Oxford Health & Rehab was proud to sponsor Connie’s Chicken to help provide free meals for those impacted. Today, we also brought some plates to our amazing team to enjoy for lunch.

We want to take a moment to say thank you to one of our families who shared kind words about the care their mother is receiving during this ice storm here in Oxford, Mississippi. (Shared with permission) Messages like that mean more to our team than you know. ❤️

At Oxford Health & Rehab, our residents are our top priority—especially during challenging weather. We are fully functional, fully operational, and fully staffed, with plenty of food, water, medications, heat, and supplies on hand. Every resident is safe, comfortable, and being well cared for by our dedicated team. There is no need to call the police department as they are already working so tirelessly.

We are proud of our staff who continue to show up with compassion and commitment, and we are grateful for the trust our families place in us. Thank you for your support as we continue caring for your loved ones through this storm.

We’re grateful to share that Oxford Health & Rehab is now fully restored to normal power and no longer operating on generators. Throughout the weather event, our dedicated team stayed on-site to make sure every resident remained safe, warm, comfortable, and cared for.

We have plenty of food, water, medications, and supplies, and all services are running smoothly. Most importantly, your loved ones are doing well and continue to receive the attentive care they deserve.

Thank you for your patience, trust, and support during the storm. Our residents are family to us, and their safety and comfort will always be our top priority. Please refrain from inaccurate Facebook posts. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Dear loved ones—

We understand that weather emergencies can be stressful, and we want to reassure all families that your loved ones are safe, warm, and cared for. We will do what it takes to keep them safe.

Due to the ice storm, our community is currently operating on generator power as a precaution. We want to be very clear: our facility has not lost heat. Our central heating system is fully functioning, and all resident areas remain heated and comfortable.

Our team is on-site, monitoring systems around the clock, and continuing normal care, meals, and services without interruption. Safety and comfort remain our highest priorities.

If you have questions, please contact the front office directly rather than relying on social media rumors so we can provide accurate information.

Thank you for your patience, trust, and support during this weather event. We are grateful for our staff who are here ensuring your loved ones are cared for every step of the way.
