🚶🏻♂️➡️National Walking Day was yesterday! You know at Hoke DPC we're ALL about taking care of yourself. Enjoy this video we took of the Black Covered Bridge trail in Oxford, OH. There are many ways to add steps to your day & several trails in our area with beautiful scenery - even some quick enough to do on your lunch break!
Walking daily acts as a powerful, low-impact way to boost cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles & bones, aid in weight management & improve mental well-being. It helps reduce the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes & heart disease, lowers blood pressure & boosts immunity.
It's OK to start slowly — especially if you haven't been exercising regularly. You might just start with 5 minutes a day in the first week, then increase your time to 10 minutes each week until you reach at least 30 minutes.
A BODY IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION!
