This awesome basket includes SO MANY yummy, locally made snacks and mixes- from gourmet popcorn to candies. They've also included an awesome t-shirt and hat sporting their logo, AND a gift certificate to their store, where you can find supplies for all your farm animals, plus goodies for yourself. Here's a sneak peek at our next Silent Auction Items.

First up is not one, but TWO chances for you to win a fun day at the waterpark for your family of 4. Generously donated by Whoa Zone & Tracy Gabrielson, we have the opportunity for you to purchase one of TWO family four packs of passes to Whoa Zone, an amazing Oakland County waterpark, plus sweet treat vouchers. You'll have a blast!

Our second featured item today is for all the coffee lovers! This cute basket includes a coffee grinder, beautiful canister, creamer & sugar set and three delicious gourmet coffee selections- all in an adorable soft storage basket. Thank you to Judy Moore for donating this cozy basket.

We are less than a month away from Derby Day, our biggest fundraiser of the year! As we get excited for our big day, we will be sharing with you some of the incredible Silent & Live Auction Items that will be available that evening.

Today's two featured items are from our Silent Auction selection. The first is a Bird Watcher's Dream. Donated by DaFoe's Feed Store, this item includes 2 large bags of bird seed, a bird feeder, a whole sleeve of suet cakes, a bird watcher's book and a gift certificate to DaFoe's. You'll have the happiest birds in town!

The second item is the perfect luxury item for those who enjoy equestrian themed accessories, entertaining, and a fun night out to enjoy horses and some wine. This Item, donated by Everything Equine and Hoffman Farms Tasting Room, includes a beautiful lined leather wine cooler, assorted horse themed napkins and bottle opener as well as a bottle of Maverick Red wine and a certificate good for 4 tasting flights at Hoffman Farms tasting room. What a fun item!

We have A Very Special Guest….and Auction Item this year at Banbury Cross’s 36th Annual Derby Day Celebration!

An adorable AKC Labrador puppy named Derby will be up for bid at the Banbury Cross Live Auction!

Generously donated by breeder Craig Novotney and Don Langworthy, this lovable pup will be ready to join its new family soon. The dad is a pointer, as is the mom.
If you've been thinking about adding a furry friend to your home, this is your chance to support Banbury Cross while bringing home a loyal companion.

While it’s still February, we’ve been actively planning our Annual Derby Day Fundraiser since last year’s wrapped up. We are currently beginning to plan for & collect amazing items for our Silent Auction portion of the event. These things tend to be unique items, experiences, etc that you may not otherwise purchase for yourself. They typically include collectibles, memorabilia, gift baskets, game or concert tickets- you get the idea!

Wow! When our great veterinarian, Dr. Denise Burbary-Muston told me she wanted to add a fundraiser portion to her client meeting for our program, I was incredibly touched. She knows how important our equine partners are to us, and also recognizes the challenges of rising costs in our current world for a small non profit like ours.

I was blown away when I attended the meeting last night. What an incredible show of dedication, as well as community love & support! A ginormous thank you to each business or individual who donated unique & wonderful items for the raffles- such a great selection! And heartfelt thanks to each attendee who purchased raffle tickets or made donations in support of our organization. It was quite evident the work & time that Dr. Denise, Amanda Stroman and Cindy Pyscher all committed to this event, and I can’t thank you loud enough!

This meeting raised $3,000 which will be used towards the annual care of our incredible equine partners! Thank you, thank you, for helping us keep our horses healthy & in good working order!

Supporter Shout Out!

As a non-profit, we know how many worthwhile charities and causes exist in our community. We are always grateful when an individual, family or business chooses to support our program and its mission.

We were blown away when The Krings Extended Family chose US as the recipient of their annual Christmas collection again this year. With the generosity and kindness of this incredible family, we were gifted over $2200 to be used towards rider scholarships! That covers 62 individual rides! In times such as ours, where the cost of everything has increased, we have more requests for scholarships than we ever have. This family’s donation is a huge help and will allow us to assist several students stay in the saddle. An enormous thank you, Krings Family! ❤️🐴
