A Little Bit About Us…
Welcome to ~ Lifetime Wellness! Our names are Dr. Marc VanHoogstraat and Dr. Colleen Trombley-VanHoogstraat. We’ve been in practice together for 25 years!! Lifetime Wellness is more than just a name… it’s our way of life!
Our mission is to teach as many people as possible that all Health and Happiness comes from within; that we are created with an unlimited potential for Health, Wellness and Vitality.
Our expertise lies in providing scientific, individualized, successful, and restorative chiropractic care & lifestyle recommendations to enhance your function and level of performance for a lifetime, while helping you keep the destructive effects of spinal interference (subluxation) and toxic lifestyle choices to a minimum. The end result? You feel good AND “function good”!
Dr. Marc was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Southwest Missouri State University earning his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Human Biology. Dr. Colleen is originally from Harrow, Ontario, Canada. She attended the University of Windsor earning her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree with an Honors degree in Applied Kinesiology, majoring in Exercise Physiology.
We met as post-grad students at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO., where we graduated as Doctors of Chiropractic in 1994 - we’ve been together ever since!
We are incredibly passionate about Chiropractic, Functional Nutrition, Regenerative Healthcare, the Wellness Lifestyle, and LIFE! We love what we do, and we love to teach and share what we’ve learned with others. We have invested countless hours in advanced training over the past couple of decades (plus) in order to continually ’sharpen our saw’ and bring the latest science and highest level of excellence to our practice members, our community, and far beyond thanks to this age of technology. We haven’t stopped learning since the day we graduated... and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
Our commitment to offer the best care based on scientific evidence is what led us to complete the unparalleled Wellness Practitioner Certification Program. Subsequently, we have the distinct honor of serving as a Founding Center for The Innate Lifestyle Program™, providing individuals, families and corporations with a revolutionary vehicle to implement what we’ve learned, creating lifetime health while avoiding chronic illness. There couldn’t be a more important time for this program. It’s real health care reform!
In addition to our devotion to becoming the best Doctors of Chiropractic and Wellness Lifestyle experts that we can be, we are dedicated to becoming the best people we can be as well. We feel that by striving for constant and never-ending excellence within ourselves, we are better able to lead and inspire you to a more rewarding, fulfilling and exceptional future!

Since beginning our practice in 1995, we have gradually created the practice of our dreams, as well as evolved into seasoned authors, speakers and consultants. No matter how and where we deliver our message, ‘Lifetime Wellness’ remains just that… it’s caring for our practice members for life. Our emphasis is placed on the complete health of the people we take care of, not just their symptoms.
Our practice is a family practice with a special emphasis on The Wellness Lifestyle (Advanced Nutrition, Movement Physiology, and the Science of Mindset & Emotions), all-inclusive Corrective and Wellness Care programs, Cellular Detoxification & Regeneration, and Metabolic Recovery Programs for thyroid, weight loss, autoimmune conditions, food sensitivities, leaky gut, Type 2 Diabetes, insulin resistance, systemic inflammation, and more. We are also passionate about helping moms-to-be have the healthiest pregnancies possible, and starting their newborns off with the greatest potential for optimal health. As you can see, we take care of people of all ages with any health concern.
