Happy Holidays, Family! 🎄

Check out this amazing piece of history! My great-grandfather, Ralph A. Benton, Sr., was born in 1898. In 1912, at just 14 years old, he wrote a heartfelt Dear Santa letter that was published in the Chattanooga, TN News.

In his letter, he asked Santa for a big black shepherd dog, a toy train, and a brass band for Christmas. How incredible is it to connect with the hopes and dreams of our ancestors in such a personal way?

This reminds us that even over a century ago, the magic of the holidays brought joy and wonder to kids just like us. Wishing you all a season filled with family, love, and the kind of magic Ralph dreamed of all those years ago!
