To the Patients/Customers/Patrons of Hixson Drug Pharmacy,

After much thought, I would like to share some important news with you. After 21½ years of serving you as your community pharmacist at Hixson Drug, I will be retiring effective February 18, 2026.

It has truly been an honor and a privilege to care for you and your families over the years. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the many relationships we have built together. Your kindness, loyalty, and support have made my career both meaningful and rewarding.

Please know that your pharmacy will continue to provide you with quality care and service. I am confident that you will remain in capable and caring hands moving forward.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your health journey for more than two decades. I will always cherish the memories and connections made here.

This is the real truth. are driving once thriving businesses (independent pharmacies) out of many communities in (and towns across the country) while at the same time lowering competition and driving up drug costs. They fight . Now you know one of the reasons why. You couldn’t do these kinds of activities in an open marketplace.

Will Missouri join the growing list of states (Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, etc.) that have said enough is enough and have passed sweeping ? We will soon see!!
